Who knows why this appealed to me? The undulating fields? The tractor work mostly done? It certainly looks better in the full frame but a Squid is a Squid. I think it mainly appeals to me because I've got it posted before 11p. That doesn't mean my housework is done, but it may give me 5 minutes to get around tonight. Wouldn't that be something different.

BTW this was processed using the Landscape setting of the newer Canon Picture Styles. It looks too red for me, but it's probably my monitor with which I'm still fighting.

It has a very peaceful look to me Karen. Nice shot.

I'll go along with the magenta too. But Canon's artificial light settings were never something I cared for either. But this might look different in an open field. Or during sunset, it might become quiet nice.

I have no idea what Canon Picture Styles is.

I like the blue tractor, but my eye is drawn to the mysterious stand of trees and shadows in the b/g. What evil lurks there?

Nice to see you've moved 'UP' to tractor shots! LOL and a nice one it is too!

Looks like a touch too much magenta as the others said.

How old is your graphics card?

I like the spot of blue amongst all the greens. The shot appeals to me too.

Very nice shot Karen, highlights one of the great problems with the web for picture sharing (all montiors are not created or calibrated equal). -BJ

Doesn't look too red to me! Like this old fashion tractor.

I feel like I'm picking up more magenta . . but that could be MY monitor. I like the undulating field too . . . maybe there is a guy relaxing with a glass of lemonade on the other side of the tractor =)
Now the class I'm taking online would say cut and paste the tractor so it is moving IN to the frame instead of out . . but I like the feel of it going away . . like it's headed home for the nite =)

I'm always attracted to farm scenes. I like the square format, too. I haven't tried the picture styles. I do see quite a red tint to the field, but I wouldn't say that it looks bad. The greens and blues seem very true on my monitor.
(You could go into curves and pick the middle eyedropper. Click it on the grey in the tractor tire, and it will remove that color cast.)
