Pinning

Dad pinned Morgan's Lt bars today--so appropriate since he was such a big influence on her choice of college majors, (history/govemernment) and her choice of MOS, military intelligence. (Dad spent 26 years in government intelligence). Her father and grandmother also pinned her. Glad I was taking pics or I'd be a slaggy mess.
Congrats Morg! We love you.

What a marvellous picture and so symbolic. The grandparents provide the inspiration and example, the children do the hard stuff, and we the parents take the photograph and return home to the bills, wondering where the years went and allowing ourselves a little pride.

But in your case Karen, make that alot of pride!

Thank you Morgan for doing the 'hard stuff' for all of us. All the best for the future.

(Love Morgan's expression of quiet pride here in particular)
