This shot was almost obligatory - the mass launch at sunrise, and it's spectacular! But I can't remember ever seeing a better balloon gallery at any time - the whole gallery is fantastic.

When we lived in upstate NY (in the Binghamton/Endicott area) we had a local balloon fest every August, and whenever the weather was good, we would go and chase through the valley. It was fun, and our kids always enjoyed it. Sure wish I had a nice digital camera back then!

WOW! I remember seeing one balloon fly over the Vineyard about ten years ago, and I had no camera then. How many balloons were there anyway? I see about fifty here-----looks like a great time!!!!!!!!!
