Morgan ships out for boot camp (Ft Jackson, SC) next Monday and came home for the last visit for a few months. Assuming she passes boot she'll head to Officer's Candidate School at Ft Benning and when she comes out we'll be able to call her 2 Loo. (My nickname for her is Lou, and she'll emerge as a 2nd Lieutenant.

We will all miss her terribly, but I'm sure the nickname the Coast Guard gave her (Bull Dog) will apply.

I'm very very proud of you, Lou.

Geez, she looks so young. I must be old. :) Good for her and I wish her luck and success. Btw, we always called new lieutenants, El-Tee (lt.), no matter what their real name was. You've really captured her happiness here. Please, don't tell her what boot camp is really like. LOL.

Morgan, Good luck!!! I am sure you will very well. Just focus on the task at hand, don't get caught up in the petty stuff that can go on at Basic and you will find your dream realized! Again, good luck.
