Common Goldeneye

This solitary female common goldeneye was swimming and feeding in a tidal pool on the south side of Odiorne Point State Park in Rye, NH. It wasn't concerned about my presence at all, and I was able to work my way down to the water's edge a little at a time, each time it dove, until I was 20 to 30 feet away.
