Death of a Church

St. Mary's On The Hill Episcopal Church was founded in 1872, with this structure built in 1892, at 781 Niagara Street, corner of Vermont. The congregation disbanded in 1994, and the building was in the process of demolition in 2009.

Most churches placed interesting items in the corner stones - It's a shame if the items weren't saved.

THIS CHUCH GAS BEEN TORN DOWN SOMETIME EITHER IN SEPT. OR OCT. . THE REASON I KNOW, IS I LIVE BY IT.
