I used to work at Casey's with Jimmy - a really decent man and a good businessman. We also worked together at the old Bidwell Parkway Tavern [Nickelodeon]for a while.

I no longer live in Bflo, but I use to go here a lot with friends in the 80s. I liked eating inside the enclosed patio, open during Summer. Did not like the inside bar as too cramped and noisy. Food was decent.

The bar/restaurant changed hands in 2008 and was renamed "the Thirsty Buffalo"

I used to pop in there every so often back around 1980. It was never a favorite of mine, but I had some friends who liked it a lot.

This bar was named after the famous bartender, Jimmy McLaughlin, who was an early partner with Bob Naylon. Would love to find out where Jimmy is at these days. Rumor had it that he lives in Arizona. He was a legendary bartender at Casey's on Hertel, Casey's II in Clarence and Casey's Nickelodeon on Elmwood Ave. In addition, he was a very likable person and had a great sense of humor!
