In 1892, Georgia Green married the oldest son of George V. Forman, one of the richest men in Buffalo. The marriage ended after WW I in separation, whereupon she had a mansion built at 77 Oakland Pl. Buffalo, designed by E.B. Greene, who had also designed her ex-father-in-laws mansion at 824 Delaware Ave. Buffalo.
For much of her life, Ms. Forman collected eastern art.
In 1955, her home on Oakland Pl. was sold to the Catholic Diocese of Buffalo, and continues as the Bishop's residence.
