A Block

This is one of two new cellblocks built in the 1920's. A Block was four tiers tall, B Block was five tiers high. Here they are still open, I have heard that they have been fenced in to stem the frequency of falling bodies, accidentally or intentionally.

other sizes: small medium original auto

I worked A Block as an officer in 1995-1996. This is a old picture, it was much different when I worked there.
