Izmir, Ancient Smyrna - Home of the Early Church father Polycarp. He is one of the great early Christian Martyrs and was taught by the Apostle John.

Sardis, Philadelphia and Thyatira three church in the Book of Revelation in the Meander Valley. We get the word meander for the valley river, the Meander River.
:: Kusadasi on the Aegean Sea ::
Kusadasi is near the Turkish city of Selcuk and Ephesus. It is on the Aegean Sea and very beautiful.
:: Mary's House ::
This is Mother Mary's house. The Chapel that we see today was built about 1100 AD. It was built over the spot that Mary's house occupied. She spent her last years on Earth here. It is a couple of miles from Ephesus on a mountain top and overlooks a beautiful mountain valley.

Most of the pictures are the Roman Ephesus. The Temple of Artemis was in the older Ephesus and unfortunately there is little left of that temple. Paul walked the streets of Roman Ephesus for two years. Teaching with great success his message of Grace.
:: Colossae and Laodicea ::
Paul wrote a letter to Colossae and Laodicea is one of the churches seven churches in the Book of Revelation. Colossae is nothing more than a Tel. It remains buried and has not been worked by Archeologist. Laodicea is an ongoing Archeological site and a wonderful place.
