The Mount Beatitudes Church and grounds as seen from the Sea of Galilee. The area just below the church and in the center of the picture looks like a very good place to sit down with a large crowd and teach. For certain Jesus spent time at this location as well as spots lower on the hill. The location is very near Capharnaum (the Greek spelling for Capernaum). This spot is farmed with plastic sheeting protecting the crops.

Kevin teaching on the boat just past dusk. The lights of Tiberius is seen about two miles in the background. Kevin holds a Masters Degree in New Testament from the University of Notre Dame. He has lived and studied the Bible in Jerusalem, attending graduate courses at the acclaimed Ecole Biblique. Kevin is a frequent visitor to the Bible Lands.
