I am very proud to announce that Eppy mustered up enough energy to become a tropical storm one day before his 17th birthday. On November 30th, the 26th named storm of the year formed and was given the name Epsilon.

It did turn into a hurricane on December 5th, becoming only the 5th hurricane to form in December in the last 169 years. Epsilon formed offshore and caused little damage to land.
