Nice shots!... Jens is right, though... this is a Brown-throated Sunbird!

Hello my friend, I really enjoy your wonderful bird pictures, but I believe that you would want to know, that these birds are not olive-backed sunbirds. I would say that they are Brown-throated Sunbirds also called Plain-throated Sunbird, Anthreptes malacensis, if we use the HBW taxonomy. If the pictures have been taken in south Thailand it could also be the very similar Red-throated Sunbird, but as stated it is more likely Brown-throated Sunbird. I am a Danish birder living in Tak province in north west Thailand where both species in question are common. Best regards Jens
