This wooden house was built in 1917. Before World War II, it was the dormitory of senior staff of Japanese Colonel Government owned "Taiwan Salt Production Company".
The "Anping Court-Japanese Dormitory was designed by a famous Japanese architect Moriyama Matsunosuke (1869-1949).
