It was manufacturer in 1938 by Kawasaki Railcar Manufacturing Co., Ltd. for Tokyo Rapid Transit Railway Company Ltd. The operation of 100 series car was ended in 1968. The exhibited No. 129 car is the Heritage of Industrial Modernization.
