In English, Oost-Indisch Huis is East India House. This photo shows the eastern wing of the house.
It was the headquarter of Dutch East-India Company (VOC) until 1798 when it was dissolved. It was not only for chamber meeting of VOC, but also for map keeping, ship-crew recruiting as well as warehouse.
