In honor of Carnevale. Four years ago during Carnevale while visiting Venezia (IT), I commissioned a mask from a real Venetian mask artist with the thought that I would return the following year.
Well, it was not to be (and this is not the mask, but rather a cheap street vendor substitute that is very beautiful regardless).
This pic is the last installment of the B&W Feb PaD challenge (see the other participants here: http://www.pbase.com/topics/bobt54/bw_padders ). It was a toughie. I haven't had a chance to post for the last two days.
What serendipity that this challenge would end on Fat Tuesday what with my Carnevale obsession...
