Natural Frame

Stowe, Vermont

From a hike up into Moss Glen Falls today (my only day off this week). I've been experimenting with difficult lighting situations (such as standing in darkened forest area and shooting a white mountain range). I like the silhouette of the tree frame - for those who would suggest layering two photos at different settings - I think this is more true to how it actually looked. This photo is presented straight from the camera - sorry for the super large size.

Nikon D70s ,AF-S Nikkor 18-70 mm
1/400s f/10.0 at 70.0mm full exif

other sizes: small medium large original auto

I have to agree with you......I do enjoy how this looks naturally. I can picture myself standing there looking through the trees....very well done.
