FINALLY!

Stowe , Vermont

Ok, this is 100% as it was shot. In fact, I saw the moose, pulled over and by the time I'd installed my telephoto lens and carefully walked over, I had about 20 shots before she wandered back into the woods (a bunch came out black..anybody ever had that happen before? I think my lens wasn't on well enough due to my haste). Anyhoo...I had to be pushed out of the ditch because my car wouldn't start on such a harsh slant and this is the one shot worth anything.
FYI this is my 7th moose sighting in the three years I've been here and the first time I got anything useable. That's why this shot is called FINALLY!

Great Job Kim! I had one night in New Hampshire where I must have seen about 10 of these monsters wonder through but since then, not a one. Great Shot!

Wow! This moose is two different colors. Haven't seen one lately, but one came up to me in a campground. I thought he was going to say hello! Donna. Isn't it cool to see something so big as this?

That is cool. I have never seen one before (other than nature shows of course), so congrats on your shot.
