This little black bear cub was looking up at it's mother that was perched on a stump above it. Occasionally the cub would reach out and nip at it's mother's toes. The sow would respond by swatting the cub gently in the nose.

Great work!Your sister Beth introduced me to your website.I'm an avid Nikon D2X guy but am very impressed with the clarity of your action shots even at high ISO settings.Can your Canon(s) set ISO's automatically? You aren't using Nikon glass are you? (Only kidding)I assume you didn't use a tripod on the boat.I especially like your flying eagles; i know from experience those are not just lucky shots.My son and I are definitely planning an Alaska trip next summer. Thanks for sharing.
