why is the left side of this image 'blurred'? I'm curious and it may broaden my photographic knowlwedge.

I don't know if you've made me a convert to 'foveon' sensors or just to xxMP cameras? [I use a Oly E-1 at the moment which is why these eyes aren't used to seeing such detail! ;-)]
But I liked the detail and lack of aberations, faults or errors in your gear. I hope I can do likewise in future.
