A "Two Hundred Year Flood" hit Southern Alberta this past June. The river's islands were all washed over, and new windrows of gravel and sand deposited on them. For the past couple of falls, weed growth had been a problem on the Bow. Not this fall... the river bottom looks clean and neat after the flood.
