My most sucessful technique today consisted of firing out a long cast (downwind), and simply dead drifting the Waterboatman/Backswimmer pattern. I would then daydream until I heard Frank yell that I should set the hook. I would then wake up, yawn, stretch, and reel in the fish! Slooooow hooksets did not seem to matter this afternoon.
