Frank and I are on the road early today... our mission: to catch some largemouth bass on the fly! Neither of us has fished for bass before, so this trip is of an experimental nature. We've done a bit of research (actually, the research consisted mostly of some Google searches and a look at Joey Ambrosi's excellent, if occasionally overly optimistic book "Fishing the Canadian Rockies"), and have identified some lakes that allegedly have populations of bass, and we've decided to start with Wasa Lake, "The Warmest Lake in the Kootenays".
