J'ai pu visiter la maison de Julien Gracq, entièrement vide, tellement troublante de ce vide, avec quelques traces infimes de la vie qu'il y avait là. J'étais seul, avec pour seul compagnon sonore que le déclencheur de mes deux boitiers photo. Les travaux commencent la semaine suivante. C'était la première fois que j'entrais ici ; pas d'autre connaissance que de me rappeler certaines des lectures qui m'ont tant marqué, intimidantes . Dans quelques temps, des écrivains seront là, à nouveau. Alors ce vide intermédiaire aura servi.

I was able to visit the house of Julien Gracq, completely empty, this space so disturbing, with some tiny tracks of the life which there was there.
