Waiting for my King

Original can be seen in Chinese New Year.

I'm playing around with different processing trying to achieve an image which still retains some colour but is quite harsh and has a restricted palette..whilst maintaining some highlight detail.
Comments and suggestions welcome.

Love it too.. well done. It's stay natural, indeed, and make speak the image more (at least to my eyes). A beautiful portrait full of life and thoughts.
