The way you have composed this and focused it is very interesting. In a way, it adds to the real subject of the image, that is the background.

Yes, this is all about the dof as that out of focus line of warehouses etc is so beautifully abstracted which in turn is further pronounced by the line of the kerb. Bleak place this!
