The Kodak DCS 200 was introduced around 1992. It is based on the Nikon 8008s body. These pictures are the originals converted to jpeg. I have not "photoshoped" them in any way. They were opened with Gimp and converted to jpeg. The camera is only 1.5 megapixels and has a crop factor of 2.6x which means that a 300mm effectively becomes 780mm. The camera will suck alkaline batteries in a heart beat. So I suggest using nicad (because NIMH will not work, unless you modify the camera) My cameras is modified to use 8 nimh vs. 6 nicads. This means that the total battery power is 12 batteries! I've been toying with selling this one and rebuilding another one that I have on the shelf. However... for right now I am going to play around and see what it will do.
