Welcome to KC's Wildshots Photography
Ken & Carol Williams live near Owasso, Rogers County, Oklahoma on a ½ acre lot. We have the whole back yard and much of the front planted to flowers and other plants to attract birds and butterflies. We also have 170 acres in Nowata County which is located 50 miles north of our home. These two locations are Ken’s most successful photo taking locations. Ken Williams worked as a biologist for the US Fish and Wildlife Service and the Corps of Engineers for 34 ½ years before retiring at the end of December 2005 and took up wildlife photography the following year.
Our hobby is traveling and exploring wild areas and parks. Our favorite Oklahoma destinations are Black Mesa, Red Slough, Hackberry Flats, Salt Plains, or wherever we happen to turn up. Our two favorite out of state destinations are Southeast Arizona and Rio Grande Valley. We try to make these locations as often as possible.
We hope you enjoy our site and visit often. Pictures will be updated when we are home and I have time to upload new pictures. Although we strive for accuracy, things can often be overlooked, so if you find any missed identification or mistakes please let us know.
