Ken, thank you so much for sharing! We have recently retired to the Lake Tenkiller area so are having a hard time staying home...great birds right here, but also nearby. Saw Osprey at Ft. Gibson this fall. Your photography is amazing! Saw a Peregrine Falcon at Sequoyah recently, wish we had photos. Just got to go to Red Slouh for the first time... Well, anyway, I do the newsletter for the Indian Nations Audubon Society and will refer members to your photos. Thanks again! Martha & David Evans

Ken, found your pics through OKBIRDS. Enjoyed your trip to Salt Plains. It helps guys like me who are total amateures to see several pics of same species and what they look like. For instance the Mtn Plover appears to be the very tiny shorebirds I have seen many times on mud flat area south of Nash, OK. So, please keep posting and notify the birdlist! I want to see your stuff. I have been to Salt Plains a couple times in Sept. and just didnt see much, but glad you guys can get to them.

Ken .. found you by accident today...great pics..looks like youre really enjoying your retirement...gonna send your red slough gator pics to my oldest in Edmond whose claims to have hooked a gator..or something...in Arcadia couple nights ago, says he fought it for 25 minutes or so before it broke free under the boat..might be a case of too much "Swamp People"!!anyway gonna use your pic so he knows what one really looks like.. ha
