Angel Wings 2

During my visit to Liberty, I happened to ask the Janitor, Pearl if she
had ever seen any angel wings that were made out of metal and silvery garlandy
material. She quickly said "Yes, I know where they are. They are stored upstairs on the stage."

I was happily surprised to hear this, as my Dad made them for the school sometime back in
the 60's. I remember being so proud when people wore these wings during the annual
Christmas Program.

Pearl unlocked the door leading the side entrance backstage, turned on a light, and I
was staring at the wings my father made, probably over 40 years ago. My father passed away
in May of this year (2006), and it was a very touching moment to see that these were still
here after all those years.
