I lived about a block from school growing up. This is a walking bridge
that was built to cross the ditch which was right benind our house. Amazingly,
It looks very much like it did when it was first built, probably alomst 40 years ago.

I have always had a fear of heights, and I distinctly remember trying to walk across
this bridge for the first time after it was built, and I couldn't do it. I literally had to
go across it on my hands and knees, it was so scary to me to go across the bridge that
I could see right through.

Thankfully, I got used to it and was walking across it with no problem in just a few days.
