Looking North in the Country

This was taken just after 3:00 this morning a few miles west of town.

I was out from about 2:00 to 4:00 looking for meteors.
The weather did not cooperate totally, as there was a fair amount of haze and thin wispy clouds would occasionally go across the sky.
Unfortunately I only saw about 10 the entire time, and I did not get a single one of them on "film".
It was a cold disappointing morning for meteors.

I tried to take advantage of the clouds coming in from the north.
The clouds in the photo are being lit by the city lights of Blackwell, OK, just to the north of us.
It was very dark and I really could not see much in front of me, so I had to turn on my headlights to set up the basic composition of the image.
