The Tree Within the Leaf
I was leaving the area where I had been photographing leaves for awhile
this morning, and I saw back of this leaf which visually stood out from the others.
It had very small droplets of water which had collected on the fuzzy veins, as it had been lightly misting outside for awhile.
I tried photographing the leaf on the sidewalk, but could not get the sparkle I knew was possible if the sun were out.
I realized that the car headlights would probably be a nice stand in for the sun, so I turned
them on, held the leaf right in front of the headlight and shot away. Between the wind blowing
and the shallow depth of field, I got one that seemed to work.
