Autumn in Hill End

The historic village of Hill End looks stunning in its autumn colours. Louis Beyers, one of the pioneering gold miners who made their fortune mining gold in Hill End in the 1870s, is responsible for the planting of an avenue of deciduous trees along the street known as Beyers Avenue. His legacy lives onyears later.
