Macquarie Lighthouse

Located on Outer South Head, Sydney, the original lighthouse on this site was commissioned by Governor Lachlan Macquarie in 1816 and first exhibited in 1818. Unfortunately the tower was made of inferior materials and was rebuilt in 1883.

Now I wish I had gotten as far as this the other day. Great clear conditions. Nice shot.
