Adjusting the individual red-green-blue curves retained more detail in the deep shadows.
But the original upper left corner highlights lost some intensity.
The watercolor effect also became less noticeable and more "mushy" with lesser darks.
Overall, the image seemed too green to me, with little variation and texture.
