Lankester Antiques was one of the most architecturally feature-rich buildings in Saffron Walden.
The former location of a medieval merchant, it was decorated with elaborate parquetry in its plasterwork,
the timber-framing was complex, and the windows were multi-paned leaded glass.
They just don't make them like this anymore!
