Food is so much more than a means of staying alive. It can be delicious, aesthetic and soul-nourishing. A photograph can't capture food's aroma or taste, but it can remind you of similar dishes you've eaten in the past. I'd rather take pictures of food and eat food than cook it, although I do make soups and the occasional appetizer or dessert. Luckily, my husband loves to cook. We eat in restaurants sometimes but much prefer dining at home.
