Thank you for all of you who were concerned about our safety during this flood.
We are safe. Our house is up high enough from the river that we never get flooded.
The highways leading into Tillamook are under water. The Wison River highway 6 is blocked
by several slides and won't be opened for several days. The good news is that no lives
were lost except for 100 cows were drown. The other good news is that the rivers are
receding and we are only having light rain fall.
Today Beck it going for a helicopter ride with one of the city commissioners to
survey the damage and to take pictures. I am jealous!
We cancelled our trip to Las Vegas until March.
