Oooooh....beautiful! I can smell the wonderful musky, wet fragrance of the forest footpath.....and to mesh this with the "scenery shock" of blazing colors and textures is just almost too much for the soul to absorb! Nobody does it better than God, but you come right up to second place, Ms. Kathy P!!!

Kathy, I keep scrolling up and down to get all the nuances of textured leaves in the background -- not to mention the leaves I see and can touch. I can tell you've just come from Pennsylvania, friend! This is beautiful. A lot of fall paintings miss the reality, but this one doesn't. The bright is there, with sunshine peeking here and there in a believable pattern, and you've accurately dulled the shaded spots without sacrificing their color. And I love your composition -- you are a master of that. V
