A dystopian view of the Swedish coastline as seen from Hellerup, Denmark through the lens of a Carl Zeiss 35mm f/2 lens, with the distant silhouette of the Barsebäck nuclear power plant on the horizon.
Originally I titled the photo 'The Last Day of March' after someone remarked, "This looks like the end of everything".
The photograph was later renamed The Time Is Out of Joint after Hamlet's cry in Act 1, Scene 5, a declaration of stability ("is") joined to physical dislocation ("out of joint").
Pentax K5 (first generation & Carl Zeiss 35mm f/2 ZK mount).
