Isomorphics

Frederiksberg, Copenhagen

Pentax K5. Carl Zeiss 35mm f/2 distagon lens.

1/60s, f/8.0at 30.0mm, ISO 400.

The photo covers a section of a small Japanese-style pond in the Garden of the Royal Danish Horticultural Society, Frederiksberg, Copenhagen, Denmark.

The motif corresponds to a physical area of around 20 square centimeters photographed about 30 centimeters from the surface of the water.

Also see:

The surface of the water has ended out looking like a layer of translucent ice.

The bubbles are caused by small fountain in the middle of the pond.

Below are fine strands of seaweed (that to me look like neuronal networks). They reminded a friend of mine of galactic clusters.

The photo is from an upcoming series titled Isomorphics.
