Sulitjelma Mines consisted of several mines and it was operating between 1887-1991.
Today it is possible to visit some parts of the mine by guided tours.
The pictures are from one such guided tour.

The mine produced copper, iron sulfide and zinc. During the 104 years
the mine was operating a total of 26 000 000 tons of crude ore was removed
from the mountain and it contained
500 000 tons of copper, 4 700 000 tons iron sulfide and 160 000 tons of zinc.

At most there where 880km of railway in the mines. During the tour you go
1,5km straight into the mountain with a 600mm gauge railway.
The mines has a height difference of +680m to -530m measured from the local lake "langvatnet".
During the tour you mostly stay at the +60 meter level.
