Together with three friends I spent 3 months in the Himalayan mountain ranges of Ladakh, India. We worked on a project and tried to see as much wildlife as possible during the whole stay. From Leh, the capital of the district, we visited the high-altitude lakes in Eastern Ladakh, Nubra Valley in the West, and many local areas around the city. The highlight of the trip was seeing a snow leopard on pretty short distance after looking after the species for only a week!
