WILD AND CRAZY DAY

Lake Simcoe, near Virginia, Ontario

A friend and I drove out onto Lake Simcoe.
That's right ... drove onto the lake. It was frozen
over with about 12" inches of ice.

The first time I have ever done anything like this.

Canon EOS 50D ,Sigma 18-200mm F3.5-6.3 DC OS
1/500s f/10.0 at 18.0mm iso100 full exif

When you got out there and were all alone did it cross your mind why you were the only ones out there? I've seen a couple of folks do this around here but I've also seen a vehicle sink through the ice. Not for me thanks!
