While driving throughout Wales I noticed that
the roads were very narrow and had no shoulders whatsoever.
A far cry from our roads in Canada. In some instances the
roads were so narrow that two cars could not pass together
when travelling in opposite directions. One had to pull up on the
grass banks on either side of the roads.
