I'd always considered softness due to uploading something of a myth. I see the truth in it now though as this shot is sharp as a tack on my PC.

Thanks, Eldon. The difference between this and the original I view here at my desk is quite startling really. But yes, I agree....certainly not "gone" as far as softness goes. Just much more than I might have preferred. Incidentally this is my humble home.

Andy this shot could just has easily been taken where I live. A remarkable likeness and style to many NZ houses.I have to say the shot looks a little soft on my PC as well but not to a degrading degree.
