This was an interesting first river ford... Apparently there used to be a footbridge (according to the Thru-Hiker's guide) but no such thing existed upon our arrival. I risked my life and jumped across, while Bryan practiced another method*.













* Clothes were removed. Let's just say Bryan woke up really, really fast that morning.
