“Woman in the Course of History” is name of a two weeks exhibition in National Museum of Iran. The exhibition shows presence and role of woman in ancient Iran, Persia.
According to exhibited items, in parallel to men, women has played primary roles through Persian history; either superstitious and religious roles as different Goddess like Venous, Ishtar and Anahita or, real life roles like royal family and different social positions.
Such a historic background supports today’s Iranian women to become leading and superior in the region where Religion, Tradition and Conservatism hardly try to impose their own dialogue.
